Imported from Hong Kong, where races involving ancient Chinese Dragon boats were first held in 1776. It's proved immensely popular with all age groups and abilities in the UK, and spectators enjoy the stirring sight of up to 20 people all frantically paddling in unison to the beat of a drummer.

It's a sport totally dependent on teamwork for its success that's ideally suited to corporate fun days and charity fund raising events.

The Venue:
This event can take place at many suitable venues of lakes and rivers throughout the UK.

The Event:
The group will split into teams of up to 20 people for a practice session where the teams will have to decide who sits where in the boat and who’s going to be the drummer!!!

After practice the teams will compete in head to head races culminating in a grand final.

After much fun and exercise be rewarded with a BBQ feast, and with the bar open, it's an opportunity to toast the days winners. Or jettison them overboard!
